Parking lots in Sigulda during Latvian Plant Parade on 5th and 6th of May

The organisers of the XVII Latvian Plant Parade – Plant and Peat Innovation Fund, in cooperation with the Plant Growers Association and Sigulda Municipality – have decided to reschedule the Latvian Plant Parade planned on 1-2 May this year to 30 April and 1 May of 2021.

We invite you to the closing event of the gardening season “Autumn Plant Parade 2019”, which has changed its usual venue this year to Sigulda Festival Square and will take place on 21 September from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Check out the parking map in Sigulda, during Plant Parade on 4 and 5 May.

The topic of this year's event is climate change. During the event, a campaign will be held, where we will review how much CO2 is sequestrated, when all sold plants are planted, on the basis of scientific research data.

Last year, as the demand was growing and due to the drought, the shortage of thuja was observed, which, most probably affected the increase in their prices. Costs of fruit plant producers also increased as a result of the drought.

Next to the Festival square, you will find "a cloakroom for plants", where you can place purchased plants and receive a pass to pick them up later with your car.

From 4 to 5 May in the Sigulda Festival Square from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Autumn Plant Parade of 2018 will take place on 22th of September in the Bulduri Horticulture Secondary School garden (address: Ganibu cels 3, Jurmala, Latvia).

We invite all of you to welcome the Independence Celebration of Latvia at the 15th Plant Parade of Latvia, which will take place from 4 to 5 May in the Sigulda Festival Square from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
